Chapter 1:


    This was it.  The chronospheres were prepped up.  But the freedom fighters 
had one last problem.  Robotnik built a spacecraft to lift Robotropolis.  They 
had to stop him once and for all.


    Sonic walked around the Great Forest saying goodbyes to it's landmarks.  He 
speeded to Sally and his spot.  This was one he could never leave behind.  He 
looked at the carved intials in that weeping willow.  He looked up at the water 
fall that fell into the crystal clear stream, and the cave behind the waterfall.  
He spent his best and most cherrished moments here, the times they had played 
together, had lunches, talked, and many other things.  Though he would give up 
Knothole for this, he also had to say goodbye.  He walked up to the tree, and 
grabbed his knife.  He cut out part of the bark and their intials, then wrote,
    "This is where I begun."
       He slipped the kinfe back into his utility belt then put the bark into 
his backpack.  He took out a bottle and drew some of the water from the brook, 
and put it back in his backpack.  He sighed and took a deep breath.  "Goodbye." 
he said.  He walked along the trail back to Knothole.  Sally was waiting for him 
there.  "It's hard to say goodbye to this place too Sonic.  It's saying goodbye 
to home." she said.  "I know, Sal.  I know." he said walking along to his hut.  
Sally looked around Knothole.  So many missions and fun were spent here, and did 
it amount to only this?  All the work they had done, and now it end up getting 
destoyed with the rest of the planet.  Oh well, it was surley worth it.  A 
messanger walked up to Sally.  "Princess!  We need to get everyone underground 
now."  Sally took one final look at Knothole before she walked onto the rest of 
the group who was going to destroy Robotnik.  She sighed.  "You may proceed.  
Commander Laken is in charge.  When he says 'chronoshift', you know what to do." 
she said turning her head from Knothole.  "Yes, your highness." he said running 
off toward the villiagers.  The team was made of Sonic, Sally, Rotor, Bunnie who 
was now healed, Tails, Bookshire, Nick, and Antoine.  They all had COCPs on, or 
Carry-on-Chrono-Packs.  "When I give the signal..." said Sally.  "Ok.  Press the 
button." They all dissapeared.


Chapter 2:
  They were now just inside the walls of Robotropolis.  No swatbots anywhere.  
It was if it had been abandoned, and it was in a cold silence.  Tails tapped on 
Sally's shoulder.  "Yes, Tails?"  Tails pointed east.  They all turned and 
gasped.
    For there was the biggest craft of anytype they had EVER seen.  It was about 
seven miles high, and three miles long.  "Oh mahahahnn..." said Nick.  "Ditto." 
said Sonic.  "You espeect uz to destroy zat theeng, princess?" said Antoine.  
"We have to." said Sally.  She pulled out Nicole.  "Nicole, give a technical 
readout of that station."  "It is called 'The Savior', Sally." said Nicole.  A 
detailed blueprint of the Savior came out.  "Aha!  A weakness!  There is a power 
shaft eight-thousand feet deep, and in the middle is the core!  If we can get 
there it should act in a chain reaction!" said Sally.  "Then sattle up boys and 
girls, let's blow that piece of worthless scrap up!" said Sonic.  "Hurray!" said 
Tails jumping up.  "Ok, let's cautiously move toward the Savior." said Sally.  
The team started out their journey.  They didn't relize exactly what they were 
getting into.


    They stopped out apearch a tall building right at the entrance of the 
Savior.  No one was gaurding it.  "Let's slowly go in." said Sally.  They 
crepped down the stairs into the Savior.  They were in a large room, but no one 
else was in it.  They heard machinery though.  "Ok, let's break into teams.  Me 
and Sonic and Bookshire and Rotor, Tails and Nick and Bunnie and Antoine." 
wispered Sally.  "We'll meet each other at the drop off point at the new 
Mobius." said Sally.  They started to walk in different directions.


   Team One were walking through a large room where robots we making parts, but 
the weren't paying any attention to them.  They kept on walking til they came to 
a large door.  It was locked.  Sally pulled out Nicole.  "Can you unlock this?"  
"Unlockable due to to many firewalls." Sally slipped Nicole in her vest pocket 
then turned to Sonic.  "Can you do it?"  Sonic just smiled turning to the door.  
He alarmed the rest of his body, then jumped up and spun in a sonic spin.  He 
broke through the door into a larger room.  This time they had a huge 
guardianbot standing there.  It turned and looked at them.  "Subjects: Freedom 
Fighters.  Destroy."


  Team Two came to an elevatorshaft.  The door slid open with a swoosh sound.  
Nick looked at it.  "Hmm... what good will it be if we stay here?" he said 
stepping in.  The rest followed.  A few sconds later the door closed and the 
lights flipped off.  The elevator started to go downwards.  When it stopped, the 
lights flipped on and they were in a room heavily guarded by swatbots.  Tails 
started to energize his chaos emerald energy, but before he could, seven 
swatbots apeared infront of them.  They aimed they're blasters at Tails.  Nick 
saw this.  He made a split second decision, he knew what he had to do.  Using 
all his strength, he leaped infront of Tails taking all the fire.  "Ugh!"  
"Nooo!!!" screamed Tails.  But it was too late.  Nick had taken his life for 
Tails.  Tails was enraged.  He turned toward the swatbots.  "Ok, biobots.  You 
killed Nick!  And now you're gonna have the same punishment!!!" said Tails 
having almost all the energy.  The bots laughed and fired again.  This time, 
they repeled Tails.  Bunnie and Antoine were looking at Nick.  Tails shot out a 
million bolts of electricity frying ALL the swatbots in the room.  Bunnie was 
comforting Tails now who was crying.  Antoine frowned looking around.  So.  
Maybe some humans were better than everybody thought.  He saw at the end of the 
room a sign.  "Eevewreeone!  Look down zare!  A tram to zee shaft!" said 
Antoine.   The other two looked back.  Sure enough it was there.  Tails took one 
final glance at his human friend, then ran off to join the others. 


    Sonic pethetically looked at the bot smiling.  He bursted off in speed 
running around the bot many times.  Rotor and Bookshire had chronoshifted, 
because Laken needed help with the chronosphere.  Sally was climbing up that 
mechanical monster, while Sonic was distracting it's attention.  She placed an 
explosive on it, then yelled, "I've got it Sonic!" Sonic skitted to a stop, a 
held out his arms.  Sally let go and fell into them.  Sonic sped into the next 
room.  He placed her down, and they watched as it exploded.  Sally flung back 
her hair.  Sonic smiled.  "Good work, Sal."


Chapter 3:
  Chaos watched in horor at what Tails, Bunnie, and Antoine were doing.  
"No!!!!!!  he screamed.  "They're going to excape along with that pitiful fox!  
Well we'll just see about that!" said Chaos.  He started to turn mortal.


    Tails sensed something he felt before.  He looked at Bunnie and Antoine.  "I 
think you guys should leave." he said.  Bunnie giggled.  "Why?"  "Please just 
believe me.  Someone needs to settle a score with me.  Alone."  Bunnie 
understood.  Tails was the Chosen One, and he was usually right.  She pressed 
Antoine's button on the COCP, and the two chronoshifted back to the underground.  
Now Tails was alone.  He looked at the tram and he knew Chaos wanted to go 
there.  He bravely walked onto the constantly moving tram.  It took him through 
a dark tunnel onto a platform with a long walkway going off the shaft.  He 
looked down, but it was so misty he couldn't see the bottom.  Though it did look 
thousands of feet deep.  He heard a voice behind him.  "Hello, Tails."  "Chaos!" 
said Tails turning around.  Then Tails' fear started to get the best of him.  
"Wha-what do you want?"  "I'm going to kill you.  You are getting much to 
powerful and I must stop you before you're more powerful than-" Chaos then 
relized what he had said.  Chaos blew Tails' packpack away off the side of the 
corridor.  "Oh now I see, Chaos.  You didn't want me to get that emerald because 
I would become more powerful than you!  Well then you're through Chaos!" said 
Tails grasping the emerald's power.  Chaos zapped a lighting bolt at Tails.  
Tails was in pain but he dare not give in.  Now he was the Chosen One.  Chaos 
shuttered.  "Now, if you touch that emerald you'll die!"  Tails magnatized the 
emerald up to him.  "No I won't.  I condem you for enteral imprisonment in this 
chaos emerald!" he yelled.  "No!!!!" screamed Chaos sucking into the emerald.  
Tails threw the emerald down the shaft.  He smiled.  He chronoshifted to join 
the others.


Chapter 4:

  
    Sonic and Sally had been walking for an hour, and hadn't found anything, 
until they came to a lighted hallway.  It was the control pannels... and there 
was Snivley.  "Why you infierior rodents!  Why do you always have to ruin the 
best of ours?"  Snivley pressed a button that opened a chasm that led him away.  
Titanium shields went across the buttons.  "Oh well Sal.  Who cares about him?"  
The two kept on walking, until they came to the message room.  Swatbots were 
everywhere.  "Time to juice 'em and reduce 'em!" said Sonic.  "Letme handle 
this, Sonic." said Sally stepping into the middle of the room.  She drew out her 
blaster pistol.  "Hey!  You freaks!  Come and get me!" she yelled.  Sonic looked 
at her.  She was crazy.  Sally shot her blaster, which had a magnatized rope.  
It stuck to the cieling.  A second later she was pushed away.  It was Sonic!  
"Sonic!  You ruined it!"  Five hundred other swatbots appeared in the room.  
"Come-with-us!" they said.  Sally and Sonic looked at each other.  They were 
outnumbered.


  Laken was looking around at the freedom fighters, every group there ever was.  
The MPs quieted them all down.  "Ok, people.  Everything's ready.  In two hours, 
the asteroid will hit and Mobius will explode.  But we'll be on the new Mobius, 
safe and sound.  Miles 'Tails' Prower has informed us that Chaos... is no longer 
a threat.  We'll alert you five minutes before we chronoshift." said Laken.  He 
stepped down the podium into the briefing room.  Rotor was there, and so was 
Bookshire.  "The asteroid will hit in Cat Country, then we'll have ten minutes 
to get everyone outa here." said Rotor.  "The explosion of Mobius will create a 
shockwave that will hit the new Mobius, giving it a earthqauke." said Bookshire.  
"Good.  I think we can do it." said Laken.



  Sonic and Sally were now in Robotnik's chamber.  The pure evil person.  "Ah... 
welcome, Princess, Hedgehog.  Before you both perish, I want you to see Mobius 
explode with the rest of your pethetic rebellion." said Robotnik.  Sonic glared 
at Robotnik.  "Your evil, Robotnik, is like a knife.  In the end it's going to 
stab you in the back." said Sonic.  "Ooh... very moving words, Sonic.  Too bad 
it's not going to do you any good.  I saw this asteroid coming six months ago, 
so I immediately started construction of the largest craft ever built, the 
Savior.   Impresive, isn't it?" said Robotnik.  "The only thing that is 
impresive is that you manage to stand up.  I can't believe you can with all that 
flab.  And how many plastic surgens did it take to make your face look so 
junky?" asked Sonic.  The swatbots started to giggle.  "Oh very ammusing, 
hedgehog.  May we here more?" asked Robotnik.  "Sure, Buttnik.  When I'm done 
destroying you all." he said.  "Bots!  Do it!" said Robotnik.  The swat bots 
chained Sally up right by Robotnik, and put Sonic in a robotasizer.  "Now 
hedgehog, you have a choice to make.  Eithier you get robotasized, or Sally gets 
destroyed!" boomed Robotnik aiming his wrist laser at Sally.  Sonic thought 
desperately of what to do.  He looked up.  "Sally!  COCP!" he said.  "What?  Is 
that a layman's term I haven't heard?" asked Robotnik.  Sally smiled.  Sonic and 
Sally pressed their buttons on the COCPs and they started chronoshifting around 
the room, trashing bots.  "Hit those packs you fools!" yelled Robotnik.  And 
then it was so.  Eventually, the remaining bots destoyed the packs.  After Sonic 
and Sally cleaned the rest of the swatbots, they stepped up to Robotnik.
   The all looked in each other's eyes.
All these years they had fought, and now it was coming to an end.  Sonic and 
Sally had little hope for themselves, due to their COCPs beying destroyed.  But 
that didn't matter now.


    Sonic gave Robotnik an uppercut, then Sally flip kicked him.  Robtnik pushed 
Sally down very hard, while holding Sonic back.  Sonic turned into a spinball 
and hit Robotnik in the stomach.  Robotnik ejected sharp spikes from his glove, 
and pounded them three times into Sonic's side.  Sonic wailed in pain, who was 
shot back to the floor.  He was bleeding, but still had power left in him.  With 
one final tatic, made of a two fist slam on Robotnik's head and a tornado kick 
in the stomach, sent Robotnik flying through the window, down the shaft.  Sonic 
watched as his worst enemy died.  "Here," he said, "I end."  Sonic started to 
walk back to Sally.  He helped her up.  They hugged each other, then looked at 
the doorway to the shaft.  This was it.


Chapter 5:


   The two walked into the doorway, to find themself on a platform looking down.  
You couldn't see to far down, but you could see a blue light.  "Now what?" asked 
Sonic.  A tear came to Sally's eye.  "Nothing, Sonic.  We lost our hope when our 
chronopacks, we lost all hope of destroying the power generator." said Sally.  
Sonic looked down the shaft.  He had an idea.  He looked around, then turned to 
Sally.  "Sal.  There's still one way we can destroy that thing." said Sonic.  
"What?"  "If I go into a sonicspin, I could blow it up." said Sonic.  Sally 
relized now what that meant.  "No Sonic!  You would die if you did that!  
There's no way you could get out of there in time to avoid the explosion!" said 
Sally worringly.  "Maybe if I go very fast, I could blast right through it." 
saud Sonic.  But they both knew that was impossible.  "Sally, I've wanted to 
tell you this forever.
     I love you."


  Then, Sonic and Sally kissed each other for about ten seconds, then Sonic 
looked down the shaft.  He started to cry, not because of dying, but because 
he'd be saying goodbye to Sally.


   Sally also started to cry.  Sonic then looked at Sally.  He held up his wrist 
revealing, 'the scar.'  Sally looked under her own wrist, to find her scar still 
there.  She smiled.  Sonic turned around, straitening up himself, and prepping 
up. He jumped, and turned into a spinball.


    Then, the explosion.



Chapter 6:

   At this point, Sally was screaming.  Now Packbell, Snivley, and all the other 
bots would be dead.  Including her?  The entire Savior started to shake.  Then, 
she saw a escape pod at the top of the shaft.  She climbed the ladder, and ran 
in.  She sat the course for Knothole's cave entrance, then she blasted off.  
After she was out of Robotropolis, she watched as the Savior, Robotropolis, the 
bots, Packbell, Snivley, and what ever was left of her best friend explode.  


   A few minutes later the craft crashed just outside the cave.  She slowly 
walked in, to find everyone looking at her.  She looked down at her vest, that 
was covered with Sonic's blood, and covered with sweat from the heat and fight.  
"I dedicate this," she said.  "In memory of Sonic Maurice Hedgehog " 


   The audiance was shocked at what she had said.  Sonic's closest friends, 
Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, Tails, and Bookshire stepped up to Sally.  "Say it ain't 
so, Sally!" said Tails hugging Bunnie.  The rest had tears in their eyes, and 
Bunnie was crying.  Sally joined them.  Rotor wiped the tears from his face and 
told Sally, "Nick didn't make it.  He gave his life saving Tails'."  From the 
back of the room, Laken said a little prayer for his lost cousin.  Sally frowned 
seeing this, it was hard for everyone.  She stepped through the underground 
corridor to Laken.  She raised his arm in the air.  "Though some people today 
showed great efforts and sacrafises, we need to thank Commander Laken here for 
saving us all.  Everyone of us, including him, have showed amazing courage and 
strength and will.  So let's put our hands together, thanking each other, alive, 
and... dead." said Sally.  All the remaining citizens of Mobius clapped and 
cheered.  Bookshire ran up to Laken.  "Commander!  We have three minutes to 
impact!  And something's gone wrong with the chronosphere!"  Laken turned.  
"Rotor, Bunnie, Antoine, Tails, and Sally!!!!  Get over here now!" yelled Laken.


    Chapter 7:


     "You see, we have to much presure in the room!  If we were to chronoshift, 
we could only chronoshift half the people!" said Bookshire.  Laken then gulped.  
"We have two minutes to make this room bigger.  GO!!!" he yelled.  Everyone 
started hitting the walls, digging, and Tails was using his Tails to blade the 
dirt.  Rotor screamed out the door.  "We need ten very strong people in here 
NOW!!"  Ten large bears came in, and started to make a tunnel.  Then two minutes 
were up.  They all heard a loud, sonic boom, then, a massive earthquake.  The 
tunnel the polar bears had made collasped on them, then the rest ran out.  "HERE 
WE GO!!!" shouted Laken punching the egnision key.


   There was a large flash, then they were all gone.



   A few seconds later, a huge wall of water came over all Mobius, then struct 
Knothole.  The huts were ripped apart, and all the memories.  From the new 
Mobius, the survivors watched as their homeworld, died.






Epilouge:  
   

    The new kingdom was being built, and Sally was standing on a podium, looking 
at all the survivors.  "Now, time for memorials.  We give one to Uncle Chuck, 
who was killed when the massive Dark Emerald started an earthquake, and to his 
dog, Muskki, who helped us in many journeys.  I give a memorial to all those who 
died in the earthquake.  I give a memorial to Queen Acorn, who was killed when 
the Minca tunnels caved in, and giving a memorial to those Mincas who died when 
the tunnels collasped.  I give a memorial to King Acorn, who died when Robotnik 
took over.  I give a memorial to all those who faught and died in the name of 
the realm of Acorn.  I give a memorial to Nick Hitchdack who died saving Tails' 
life, and finally... I give a memorial to Sonic Hedgehog, who gave his life to 
save a world and it's people."

    With that, she stepped down, and construction of the new kingdom began 
again.

   Here, they could begin again.
